Giraffes are the world’s tallest mammals reaching heights of up to 19 feet.
They are found all over the African savannah in small groups of around half a dozen.
Giraffes can reach speeds of 35mph over short distances thanks to their longs legs which often measure around 6 foot.
Giraffes are herbivores and use their long tongue of 21 inches to reach juicy tree top leaves.
The tongue of a giraffe is also a purple, black colour to help protect against sunburn.
